Job description Job Title: Senior PHP Developer Experience: 6 to 7 Years Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have 45 years of hands-on experience in PHP development, particularly with frameworks like CodeIgniter , or Laravel, and be capable of leading backend development projects from concept to deployment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and relevant frameworks. Write clean, well-designed code following industry best practices. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members. Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to project planning. Handle code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure high code quality. Develop RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications. Work with MySQL databases , including complex queries and optimization. Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, push notifications). Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4–5 years of proven experience in PHP development. Strong knowledge of at least one PHP framework ( CodeIgniter , Laravel, etc.). Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), MVC architecture. Good experience with MySQL, query optimization, and database design. Experience in writing and integrating RESTful APIs. Knowledge of version control tools like Git. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery. Understanding of security best practices and data protection. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of the event and exhibitor industry will be an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus. Experience with task management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
