Job Summary:

Location- Vashi (In-Office)

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using

  Laravel

  .
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Write clean, secure, and scalable PHP code following best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, and stakeholders to deliver new features.
• Manage MySQL databases and write optimized queries.
• Maintain code quality through proper version control, testing, and documentation.
• Occasionally support WordPress-based projects involving custom plugin and theme development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Application Development

• Develop, maintain, and enhance large-scale Laravel applications.
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and modular backend components.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable PHP/Laravel code.
• Implement queue workers, scheduled jobs, and background processes.
  

2. Architectural Leadership

• Design scalable system architecture ensuring performance and reliability.
• Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and best coding practices.
• Evaluate and integrate modern backend tools, libraries, and cloud solutions.
  

3. Database & Cloud Management

• Work with MySQL / PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization.
• Experience with AWS (RDS, S3, EC2, Lambda) or similar cloud platforms.
• Implement indexing, caching, and performance tuning.
  

4. API & Integrations

• Build secure APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Implement OAuth2, JWT, Sanctum, Passport authentication.
• Integrate with third-party services (payments, SMS, email, CRM, ERP, etc.).
  

5. DevOps & Deployment

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Manage Linux servers, Nginx/Apache, and optionally Docker.
• Deploy applications on AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, or similar environments.
  

6. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Write unit, feature, and automation tests using PHPUnit/Pest.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Optimize performance through caching, Redis, and query refinement.
  

7. Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and technical decisions.
• Work closely with product, design, QA, and cloud teams.
