Job Description

As an Operational Risk Manager at this company, your role involves owning the improvement of risk management maturity within the division to better respond to evolving technology, operational, and regulatory risk landscapes. You will drive improvements in governance, compliance, processes, tooling, and simplification of risk management capabilities. Additionally, you will coordinate initiatives to mitigate risk across Foundation Services technology capabilities. Your responsibilities include acting as the central point of contact for all risk-related matters, overseeing the Risk Book of Work, coordinating responses to audits, and leading risk and control assessment activities. You will also be responsible for analyzing risk metrics, delivering updates on risk profile and mitigation efforts to management, identifying areas for improvement, and promoting a culture of operational risk management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as the central point of contact for all risk-related matters in Foundation Services and facilitate issue resolution. - Oversee the divisional Risk Book of Work, including Operational Risk, Business Continuity, and remediation activities. - Coordinate responses to internal and external audits, partnering with relevant subject matter experts. - Collaborate cross-functionally to capture and respond to business objectives and risk tolerance levels. - Lead risk and control assessment activities to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. - Analyze risk metrics and drive effective risk mitigation strategies. - Deliver clear updates on risk profile and mitigation efforts to management. - Identify key areas for improvement in technology and operational risk landscapes and drive the adoption of risk management measures. - Partner with I&C and Risk team members to develop LSEG's Risk Culture. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related field. - 12-20 years of experience in risk management or a similar field, with a focus on technology or operational risks. - Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, or CISA are preferable.
