Job Description

Designation:

Qualification:

Graduate in any discipline.
Preference will be given to candidates with Post-Graduation (Diploma/Degree) in
Materials Management
.

Experience:

Minimum
10+ years
of relevant experience in the
Power Industry
.
Preference will be given to candidates from a similar industry and background.

Gender & Personality Requirements:

Male candidate with a
pleasing personality
.
Must be
fluent in English
(spoken and written).
Should be
medically and physically fit
to perform assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end management of
stores and materials
for power plant operations/projects.
Handling receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials related to power generation, transmission, and associated equipment.
Inventory planning and control to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
Maintaining accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory reports.
Coordination with Purchase, Projects, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
Conducting periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Supporting internal and external audits.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
.
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in
SAP (MM / Stores Module)
.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to
travel a minimum of 15 days per month
.
Strong technical knowledge of materials used in the
power sector
and the ability to handle the
entire stores function independently and efficiently
.
