• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Odoo Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Odoo development, customization, and implementation, with a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing and developing Odoo modules, and ensuring the smooth integration of Odoo with other systems.

• Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of Odoo solutions.
• Develop and customize Odoo modules to meet specific business needs, including new feature development and modification of existing functionalities.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications using APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP).
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient Python code following Odoo best practices.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug Odoo issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo features, updates, and best practices.
• Provide technical documentation and training to end-users as needed.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Manage and maintain Odoo development, staging, and production environments.
• Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and customization.
• Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming principles.
• Solid understanding of Odoo framework architecture, ORM, and security concepts.
• Experience in developing custom Odoo modules from scratch.
• Proven ability to customize existing Odoo modules to meet specific business requirements.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, XML, and QWeb.
• Familiarity with database systems, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of web services and API integration (REST, SOAP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
