As a Senior Software Engineer NodeJS, your role will involve actively participating in the design and development process to create scalable architectures that can cater to the varying needs of multiple customers. You will be responsible for interpreting business requirements and translating them into functional applications and supporting database schemas. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining server-side applications using NodeJS, ExpressJS/NestJS, and TypeScript. - Building robust and efficient REST APIs for various applications. - Performing data modeling and managing SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc. - Implementing microservices architecture and ensuring effective communication between services. - Deploying applications using cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with experience in tools like Nginx for load balancing. - Following Agile development practices, including Scrum, for effective project planning and execution. - Staying updated with new technologies and best practices, and adopting them into the development process. - Ensuring code quality and application performance through the use of version control tools like Git. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of relevant experience in software development using NodeJS, ExpressJS/NestJS, and MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB. Technical Skills: - Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages. - In-depth understanding of NodeJS with the ExpressJS framework or NestJS. - Experience in building REST APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases. - Hands-on experience with ORM tools like TypeORM or Sequelize. - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) for notifications, data storage, and deployment. - Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and implementation. - Basic front-end development skills and understanding of UI/UX interaction. - Familiarity with Nginx, and deployment on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Experience with SDLC, Agile development, and Scrum methodology. - Understanding of asynchronous programming and code versioning tools like Git. Please note this job is located in Ahmedabad/Mumbai and requires working from the office.
