Role Overview

Senior Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using

  Node.js

  and

  TypeScript

  .
• Implement and optimize

  Prisma ORM

  for efficient data modeling and database access.
• Write and maintain

  SQL queries

  and schemas using

  SQLizer

  or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server logic.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and maintain code quality standards.
• Manage version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance.
• Ensure security and data protection in all backend processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in backend engineering.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in

  Node.js

  and

  TypeScript

  (minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience).
• In-depth understanding of

  JavaScript (ES6+)

  concepts and async programming.
• Hands-on experience with

  Prisma ORM

  (schema modeling, migrations, query optimization).
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  and relational database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  SQLizer

  or similar tools for SQL query conversion and management.
• Solid grasp of

  API design principles

  , authentication, and data validation.
• Experience with

  Express.js

  or

  NestJS

  frameworks.
• Knowledge of

  unit testing
