Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and third-party integration.
• Work with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Write and maintain robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product owners, and QA teams.
• Ensure application security and data protection by applying secure coding practices.
• Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain high code standards.
• Stay current with Node.js ecosystem, libraries, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and backend development.
• Expertise in Express.js or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful architecture and API design principles.
• Strong command of JavaScript, ES6+, and asynchronous programming.
• Practical experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in using Git and version control systems.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with microservices, Docker, or cloud deployment (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Socket.io, or real-time data streaming.
