Job Description

Senior Network Engineer

optimal network performance

Primary Responsibilities:

Understand core internet concepts (DNS, IP Routing, VPN, Email Routing, etc.)
Configure and manage Checkpoint Firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances.
Design and set up switching and wireless environments supporting voice/video applications.
Assist in designing multi-server environments with proper IP schemes and DNS setups.
Install, configure, and maintain client/server network software and telecom systems.
Manage multi-site network operations, software applications, and system maintenance.
Handle assigned IT projects and ensure timely service delivery.
Provide technical support to staff, administrators, and vendors.
Oversee network systems and server administration to ensure service availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve network, software, and telecom issues.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BE/B.Tech/BCA)
Certifications: CCNA and/or CCDA
Strong understanding of network security (ACLs, VPNs, Firewalls)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Willingness to respond to installation or maintenance needs as required
