As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technical consultant at Oceaneering, your role involves interpreting inspection data, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inspection workflows while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. - Identify and interpret indications or defects on CR/DR images, such as cracks, voids, inclusions, corrosion, or discontinuities. - Analyze Ultrasonic data to determine the nature, severity, and significance of detected defects according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. - Document findings accurately, including defect location, size, orientation, and any relevant contextual information. - Generate detailed inspection reports summarizing findings, interpretations, and recommendations for further action. - Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to convey inspection results and discuss follow-up actions required. - Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures and protocols throughout the interpretation process. - Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with the inspection team to optimize workflows and outcomes. - Conduct site audits when required and ensure projects are completed professionally. - Interpret codes, standards, and contractual documents controlling the NDT method used. - Prepare reports and presentations on the design and development process. - Keep abreast of industry trends and issues. **Qualifications** **Required:** - Masters Degree in a related Engineering discipline with a minimum of 6 years of experience **OR** - Bachelors Degree in a related Engineering discipline with a minimum of 8 years of experience **Desired:** - NDT Level II qualification in MT, PT, UT & RT. - Experience with simulation and analysis software. - Proficiency in interpreting radiographic images. - Strong understanding of NDT principles, standards, and specifications. - Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify defects accurately. - Effective communication skills. - Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance. - Strong organizational skills.,
