Role Overview: As a Senior MERN Stack Developer at Rannkly, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling backend APIs using Node.js + Express and MongoDB database. You will be responsible for developing modern, high-performing user interfaces with React.js and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code across the stack. Collaboration with product, design, and growth teams to ship features fast will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will optimize apps for performance, scalability, and security, owning features end-to-end from design and development to deployment and monitoring. Being part of a startup environment, you may also need to jump into DevOps, integrations, bug fixes, or customer support when required, showcasing your typical startup energy. Key Responsibilities: - Building and scaling backend APIs using Node.js + Express and MongoDB database - Developing modern, high-performing user interfaces with React.js - Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code across the stack - Collaborating closely with product, design, and growth teams to ship features fast - Optimizing apps for performance, scalability, and security - Owning features end-to-end from design and development to deployment and monitoring - Jumping into DevOps, integrations, bug fixes, or customer support when needed in a startup environment Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) - Solid experience in both MySQL and MongoDB - Strong understanding of advanced SQL concepts like joins, subqueries, indexes, and aggregation functions - Deep knowledge of MongoDB aggregation pipelines, performance optimization, and schema design - Proficient in building RESTful APIs and modular Node.js applications using TypeScript - Strong frontend skills with React.js, including component architecture, state management, and API integration - Hands-on experience with job queues (e.g., BullMQ/Redis), file processing, or real-time updates is highly valued - Experience with web automation tools like Puppeteer is a bonus - Previous experience in startups or SaaS products and willingness to wear multiple hats as needed - Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and owning deliverables end-to-end Additional Details of the Company: Rannkly is an ambitious, fast-growing SaaS startup based in Noida, with a focus on building scalable products that help businesses grow.
