Job Description

As an Export Merchant, you will play a crucial role in leading our international sales efforts and establishing strong relationships with overseas buyers and sourcing agencies. Your primary objective will be to successfully close export orders by leveraging your deep understanding of the global textile market, excellent negotiation skills, and proactive approach to business development. Your responsibilities will include identifying and exploring new international markets, building relationships with buyers, and expanding our company's export footprint. You will be tasked with managing client relationships, negotiating and finalizing export orders, and ensuring smooth execution from inquiry to shipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for effectively promoting our textile products through various channels such as trade shows, online platforms, and direct outreach. To excel in this role, you must stay updated on international textile trends, competitor strategies, and pricing to enhance business opportunities. Collaboration with the production, logistics, and finance teams will be essential to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 3 years of experience in export marketing, international sales, or a similar role in the textile industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills are a must, along with knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and trade regulations. Familiarity with key textile export markets, buyer preferences, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies are also required. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is essential, and experience in dealing with sourcing agencies and global retail chains is preferred.
