Senior Merchandiser

As a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Merchandising at our company, you will play a crucial role in the merchandising process. You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile/Apparel/Fashion, along with 6-10 years of relevant experience. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Generating cost sheets by obtaining fabric/trims costs - Ensuring all materials/approvals are in place prior to the PCD - Maintaining the correct quality at the sampling stage/bulk stages and monitoring the quality of fabric/trims - Following up on targets with the concerned departments and maintaining good relationships with all departments - Communicating effectively with buying agents/buyers and clarifying details regarding their requirements - Making patterns efficiently with the help of pattern makers - Arranging required fabric, trims, and accessories according to orders - Providing costing details to buyers and estimating profits from each order - Strategizing innovative ideas to simplify processes and enhance efficiency - Generating necessary MIS reports and ensuring timely ERP entries Additionally, you should possess the following skills: - Knowledge of fabrics, trims, patterns, and documentation - Understanding garment parameters and common buyer requirements - Familiarity with common production problems If you have any queries or need further information, please feel free to email us at ramkumar.varadarajan@shahi.co.in.,
