Senior Merchandiser (Lingerie & Sleepwear)

The ideal candidate for the Senior Merchandiser position for Lingerie / Sleepwear / Swimwear / Activewear / Fabrics at Asmeeta Textile Park, Bhiwandi (Kalyan), Mumbai should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Fashion Designing, Merchandising, Retail, and Sourcing, with a keen interest in Intimate Wear category including Lingerie, Mens Innerwear, Sleepwear, Swimwear, Shapewear, etc. The individual will be responsible for managing clients, business generation, lead generation, market research, product development, and sourcing for both existing and new clients. Day-to-day activities will involve trend forecasting, market research, time and action planning, merchandising, buying, and retailing. Travel, both domestic and international, will be required for product development, sourcing, and buyer meetings. Inventory planning, strategizing, and management will also be part of the responsibilities, along with reporting on sales, inventories, and product performance. The candidate should possess a strong knowledge of textiles, apparel, and the fashion business, along with relevant educational qualifications or experience for the applied post. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are essential for this role. Freshers are also encouraged to apply for a 6-month Trainee Profile to gain experience and exposure in the field.
