Description
Role & responsibilities :- Initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the PET plastic recycling field, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance Monitor the use of inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiate reordering when necessary Maintaining and repairing maintenance of shop equipment Establish and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems and provide technical and process related solutions for improvement Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, solve problems in a timely manner Initiate and carry out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs Track, analyse and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc. Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures, and communicate with QHSE departments to ensure compliance with applicable procedures, rules and laws by maintenance department staff and operations Direct, maintain, and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department; review safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians Communicate with, and coordinate activities with all Plant Operations Departments, to ensure all required works are carried out, with the minimum disruption to process activities Develop, maintain and analyse periodical reports related to relevant KPIs, present them to the management and recommend areas for improvement by providing detailed solutions for approval Ensure all used technical equipment is in strict compliance with all local laws and regulations Monitor the performance of all team members, set targets, assess the achievements and provide regular feedback to staff Motivate the team to achieve targets and support when needed Analyse the Training needs and ensure that training on-the-job and/or external is provided when needed and all team members have the latest knowledge about used technology and machines within the plants Assist with hiring of maintenance staff by conducting assessment tests and interviews Preferred candidate profile : Having experience in RPET Washing line
