About this role

Trendlyne didn't do marketing the usual way. We have been the frontrunner in building great products for stock market investors, so growth for our website and app has been driven by organic demand. We spent very little on advertising and marketing.

This helped the company become profitable quickly, and we have been a profitable startup now for three years in a row.

Now that we have grown up a bit, Trendlyne is focusing on brand identity, outreach, customer acquisition and retention. This has become especially important as we launch in new markets like the US, where the website and app are now live.

Everyone at Trendlyne brings data to the table, including the marketing folks. We work with product, analytics and our channel partners to build and deliver powerful messaging and campaigns. We expect a senior marketing manager to push these goals: think creatively, and use data while executing. You should be able to demonstrate that you have already done these well in your previous roles.

The good news is that you will have great products to market. We are a tech-first company with at least a few new launches everyquarter. We are the market leader in stock market analytics in India, and are quickly gaining ground in the US.

This role is perfect for someone with a great track record in B2C marketing, who has owned the process end to end, from the initial spark to execution.

If your experience is in the finance space, that is a plus. But your track record in B2C matters a lot more than domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus

    on sustainable growth: Build awareness of Trendlyne's products for customers, and drive engagement beyond initial visit or app install. Feed the FOMO and build GTM for new products and features. Come up with innovative campaigns to retain customers and great messaging to acquire new ones.
  • Ownership

    of the marketing process from strategy to execution. Drive user acquisition, retention and reactivation. Manage all marketing channels, including paid ads, marketing partnerships, organic efforts, social media, and content marketing. Build out outbound channels like Email and Whatsapp. Understand user feedback so we know what the customer is thinking
  • Coordinate with the product and content teams for marketing campaigns that build on Trendlyne's strengths.

Must have:

  • An

    MBA

    from a reputed institute
  • 5-7 years work experience

    in growth marketing for products, customer life cycle management
  • Established

    past experience with data driven campaigns, A/B testing, tracking and presenting success metrics
  • Track

    record in increasing users, engagement and revenue
  • Proven experience (with referrals) when it comes to

    collaborating

    with different teams, being able to build consensus, and leading projects to completion
  • A

    head-turner

    when it comes to communication skills. Your English communication skills must be exceptional
