About the Role:

Act as the
technical expert for metallic manufacturing, Special Process, Mechanical, Mechatronic assembly processes,
including precision machining, sheet metal forming, integration, fastening techniques, and GD&T interpretation.
Collaborate cross-functionally
with suppliers, design, test, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, compliance with aerospace standards, and optimized assembly processes under fast-paced timelines.
Serve as the
primary on-site expert
for resolving issues associated with metals, mechanical, and integration domains, driving RCCA.
Have a
foundational knowledge of electrical integration
with a strong intent to grow in cross-functional domains.
Coordinate with
supply chain and logistics
teams to ensure timely availability of critical metallic components, raw materials, and tooling maintaining traceability and documentation compliance.
Mentor and guide junior manufacturing engineers and technicians, fostering a
hands-on,
solution-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement and production readiness.
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date work instructions, assembly fixtures, and value stream maps tailored for low-volume, high-complexity prototype and production builds, balancing quality, efficiency, and safety.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
6-8 years of hands-on experience in metallic manufacturing and assembly, preferably in the aerospace sector.
Deep understanding of machining, sheet metal forming, welding, fastening, and structural integration of metallic assemblies.
Proficient in GD&T, CAD tools (preferred NX), and PLM systems.
Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards and manufacturing certification processes.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic prototype and low-rate production environment.
