Senior Manual QA Tester - AI Enhanced Testing

Our client is a profitable, US-based SaaS startup building an AI-first social media platform already used by 100,000+ creators worldwide. As we roll out the next generation of our product, were rethinking how QA is done and were hiring a Senior Manual QA Tester to help shape this future with us. This is not a traditional QA role. Its a unique opportunity for an experienced manual tester to step into the future of testing where AI tools, playwright automation, and next-gen processes supercharge the way we ensure product quality. Here is a loom video introduction from our hiring manager in BLR: https://www.loom.com/share/433e5d6777f84328a374b16f3529ab63?sid=664b0571-cdd4-47d6-92a9-99c2dfdb05a7 What You’ll Do Execute manual testing across web and mobile apps with precision and clarity 70% of your time Own UAT, regression, and functional testing flows with detailed test cases Log and track issues in tools like Jira; work closely with engineers and designers Validate APIs using Postman; inspect data with basic SQL Use our in-house AI QA tooling to accelerate test creation and execution Help build the blueprint for what modern manual testing looks like — AI-assisted, automation-aware, and fast Learn Playwright (with our support) and grow into test automation What We’re Looking For 5+ years of hands-on manual QA experience in SaaS/product environments and/or automation Confidence with exploratory testing, structured test writing, and bug reporting Experience (or strong interest) in AI tools to improve QA workflows Familiarity with QA tools like Jira, TestRail, Postman, and basic SQL Clear communicator, self-starter, and someone excited to level up Bonus: Playwright or other automation experience, ISTQB cert, or B2C app background Why This Role is Different We’ve spent the last 18 months researching and building AI-first QA processes This role offers the chance to transform your manual testing career by learning automation and shaping what AI-enhanced QA looks like You’ll be part of a high-performing team in our central Bangalore office, working in a product-led culture at scale This is a full-time, in-office role based in Bangalore.
