Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage product development activities within the FRD department, ensuring timely execution of new and patentable formulations.
Oversee product development projects aligned with company strategy and market requirements.
Plan, monitor, and control project timelines, resource allocation, and documentation to achieve defined goals.
Ensure all development activities comply with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and quality guidelines.
Guide and mentor the team in formulation design, process development, and technical troubleshooting.
Review scientific literature, evaluate research data, and support decision-making for new product development.
Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of documents related to Test License, Test License NOC, and other regulatory needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as QA, QC, Production, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure successful project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:
M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Sciences
Experience:
10 to 20 years of experience in FRD / R&D / Product Development, preferably in Oral Disintegrated Films and Ophthalmic dosage forms.
Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with documentation, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Strong knowledge of formulation development, process optimization, and scale-up.
Understanding of patent landscapes and literature search tools.
