Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing toys/premiums production management with vendors, managing project timelines, and ensuring the supply for a key client in the global fast food industry. As a Manager at TMS, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Director in Hong Kong, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to achieve outstanding results. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the India office, coordinating both internal and external stakeholders effectively. - Act as the representative of TMS India's Supply Chain function, engaging with local clients in India. - Provide regular updates to the leadership team in Hong Kong, sharing insights on the India market and the status of factories. - Mentor and manage a team of 2 project executives, guiding them in project management and problem-solving to meet organizational objectives. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function. - Manage end-to-end project timelines, ensuring alignment with key milestones and developing contingency plans to address potential delays. - Calculate daily rates for tooling commitments and oversee order quantities and releases to factories. - Coordinate with vendors to align capacity and production schedules, monitor production status, and shipment schedules. Regular onsite visits to local factories will be required. - Oversee sample requests, coordinate market-specific toy packaging development and approval processes, and handle any ad hoc projects or administrative tasks efficiently. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Merchandising, Supply Chain, or Sourcing, with exposure to the toy industry. - Previous experience in multinational operations and supply chains is advantageous. - Strong leadership skills with at least 8 years of people management experience. - Proven track record of driving business results and operational performance. - Detail-oriented, well-organized, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - High level of integrity, strong business ethics, and ability to navigate ambiguity. - Initiative-driven, self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities successfully. - Proficient in written and spoken English, with the willingness to work overtime and travel when necessary.
