Senior Manager- Warehousing operations

As a Warehouse Operations Manager at Tata Motors, your role is crucial in managing warehouse operations to ensure a continuous and uninterrupted supply of high-quality materials to manufacturing while optimizing available resources. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare shop-wise plans and execute inbound material receipt, storage, and issuance according to production plans - Ensure material availability at the designated consumption points and escalate any shortages to maintain production uptime - Implement lean inventory management methodologies like JIS/JIT/Kanban for efficient material flow - Design shop-wise layouts and material flow solutions for optimal material handling - Manage documentation to comply with legal requirements and audits - Drive continuous improvements through kaizen activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness - Optimize shop warehouse design and material flow for space utilization - Safely handle material facilities - Manage inventory and address obsolescence issues effectively - Ensure the delivery of quality parts to the production line - Maximize green packaging and issue damaged-free parts to the line - Adhere to safety guidelines for material handling and ensure compliance - Plan and propose annual budget requirements for the warehouse area - Monitor and minimize material handling damages to control costs - Demonstrate leadership competencies such as customer centricity, developing self and others, driving execution, leading by example, leading change, and motivating self and others Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E./B.
