Senior Manager - Technology (Regulatory Compliance)

As a Senior Manager - Technology (Regulatory Compliance) at MCX in Mumbai, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Periodic review of Technology Compliances with various directives of SEBI given by way of Act, Rules, Regulations - Being the one point of contact for handling all communications with the Regulator effectively including queries and responses - Ensuring that all the communication related to IT compliance are responded to on time - Collaborating with designated team members to gather necessary information/data for regulatory related compliances - Ensuring timely and accurate collection of all required technology-related information from the technology team for regulatory submissions - Staying informed and updated with all SEBI circulars and guidelines related to technology - Understanding and applying any new guidelines or actions on technology required by the Regulator - Tracking IT compliance tasks and ensuring timely submission of Action Taken Reports (ATRs) - Following up with relevant teams and HODs to ensure all compliance actions are completed as per provided deadlines by Regulator/Management/HOD - Keeping accurate records of all Regulatory communications, circulars, compliance actions, and deadlines related to technology compliance - Ensuring all submitted records and data submitted to the Regulator are securely stored - Providing regular reports/periodic updates to the Head of Department (HOD)/CTO on technology compliance status, including progress - Keeping the HOD informed about SEBI related activities and deadlines - Working with the other compliance team to update them on IT compliance deadlines and the status of ongoing actions - Ensuring clear communication and follow-up on IT compliance tasks - Carrying out any other tasks needed to support the organization's technology compliance with SEBI regulations - Reviewing reports and providing feedback for improvements - Preparing agenda and ATR for the updating committee on compliances - Assisting audits conducted by the regulator on the technology compliances To be eligible for this role, you should have: - B.Sc (IT) / BE / BTech qualification - 10-15 years of relevant experience with a reputed IT Company/IT enabled Services Company - Experience in Exchange/BFSI (Banking and Financial) Segment is an added advantage - Worked on SEBI compliances At MCX, we believe in offering exciting and challenging career opportunities for ambitious and result-oriented professionals.
