Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Salesforce as an Engineering Manager, where you will be responsible for effectively managing a team of Engineers and Architects to drive customer success by specializing in one or more lines of business, a specific cloud, or industry. As a leader in the software engineering teams, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers to drive the execution and delivery of features, make critical decisions, and ensure customer value realization. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the execution and delivery of features - Make critical decisions that contribute to the success of the product - Proactively foresee issues and resolve them before they happen - Manage daily stand-ups as the Scrum Master for engineering teams - Partner with Product Owners to align objectives, priorities, and risks - Empower delivery teams to self-coordinate and have clear priorities and resources - Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members - Maintain high morale and motivate the team to go above and beyond - Advocate for technical excellence and participate in architecture discussions and planning - Interview and hire qualified individuals to maintain and encourage the company culture Qualifications Required: - A related technical degree is required - Minimum 13 years of Software Engineering experience with 3-5 years of experience leading sizeable teams - Experience in leading large scale enterprise applications or distributed systems - Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills - Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum Master experience - Knowledge of software engineering best practices including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations Additional Company Details: Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM company that focuses on driving customer success through innovation and technology.
