Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager- PPC at Sanand EV Works-TPEM, your role is crucial in ensuring the accurate production planning and monitoring of production of vehicles up to the shop aggregate level. Your primary responsibility is to fulfill the requirements of the operations plan effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Production Planning: - Prepare shop production plan for annual and monthly Operations Plan and make key decisions - Receive 3-day production plan as per S&OP requirement and sequence models according to aggregate and parts availability - Circulate 3-day dropping plan for allocated shops/shifts - Maintain accurate communication between Operations Planning team and Shop production team - Measure success through CLIP & CVP targets, availability of aggregates and parts, and zero line stoppages - Data & Dashboard Management: - Monitor and update Shop aggregate level dashboards to reflect production sequencing changes - Ensure correct sequencing is fed to the assembly line - Monitor daily upload of MES shift plan in the system and track production target achievement - Measure success through inventory levels and production uptime - Supply Chain Management: - Coordinate with Scheduling & Procurement team for correct supply of aggregates and parts as per planned sequence - Ensure timely availability of materials and parts through coordination with Logistics team - Liaise with Warehousing team to maintain sufficient line level inventory - Measure success through production uptime due to material availability - Demand Fulfilment: - Monitor and provide daily production MIS and line stoppage report as per hourly production control chart - Escalate material shortage issues to SCM team and suggest corrective actions - Coordinate with Scheduling department for plan changes to minimize line stoppages - Highlight gaps between shift plan and actual shop production; collaborate with concerned departments - Monitor quality issues with Shop aggregates and follow rectification route - SCM Systems Development: - Ensure accurate data input into SCM Business support IT Tools & Systems - Develop new IT systems and deploy improvements for increased efficiency - Conduct trainings to enhance internal team competency in utilizing IT Systems & Tools - Process Standardisation & Improvement: - Adhere to production planning process - Integrate SCM Business Processes to TMPS and WCQ Philosophy - Deploy SCM Business Processes across TML Plants Qualification Required: - Education: B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/Elec.) - Skills/Competencies: - Driving Execution - Customer Centricity - Leading Change - Operations Management - Business and financial acumen - Problem-solving orientation - Risk management - Relevant Experience: Must have 3-8 years of experience in Supply Chain management with at least 2 years in Production Planning.,
