Role Overview: You will be joining a dynamic team as a Senior Licensing Consultant at EY. Your role will involve providing expert advice to clients on effectively managing their SAP licenses, ensuring compliance and optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Possess strong licensing knowledge of software publishers like SAP, with experience working with SAP from a licensing perspective. - Review existing SAP license contracts and usage data to evaluate compliance with licensing terms. - Analyze user access patterns to determine appropriate license types. - Familiarity with SAP tools like USMM, HANA, LAW, and their integration with SAM tools like Flexera, ServiceNow. - Create Effective License Position (ELPs) report, compliance status, and cost analysis. - Stay updated with the latest SAP licensing trends and terminology. - Conduct SAP license audits and reviews to identify compliance issues and provide solutions. - Advise clients on SAP license optimization strategies for cost-effectiveness. - Provide training and guidance on SAP licensing matters to junior consultants and client personnel. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP licensing considerations into broader IT and procurement strategies. - Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and the business impact of licensing decisions. - Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the licensing industry with successful ITAM/SAM Management/software licensing experience across publishers. - Familiarity with different publisher licensing models. - Strong understanding of SAP licensing models, including named user licenses, concurrent user licenses, and indirect access licensing. - SAM Accreditation (preferred). - Proficiency in Excel and data analysis. - Previous exposure to asset management software, preferably with specific experience in ServiceNow and SAM.
