Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Should have either worked on freight procurement tool or conducted the on line auctions through procurement tools like Ariba, mjunction etc
Should have handled large pool of Transporters across country
Should have managed freight procurement worth 100+Cr Annually. Have exposure on manual freight negotiation for long term and short term contracts .
Have exposure on Large set of data analysis , Data gathering, Compiling large volume of data, Knowledge of basic statistics , add on statistical tool knowledge Mean , Median ,Mode, Pareto , Variance, Standard Deviation etc
Should possess expert level proficiency on MS OFFICE Suite( MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS ACCESS, MS VISIO)
This is Must have.
Should possess strong communication and presentation skills .

Preferred candidate profile

Must be a Post Graduate with Commerce background, PGDM /MBA (Finance/ Operations /General Management) ,
Should have worked extensively in Logistics/ Transportation domain with 10+ years’ experience, in Domestic transportation freight procurement, Transportation contract management , Transporter on boarding especially.
