Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Manager with a strong background in insurance technology (InsurTech) to lead technical strategy, implementation, and vendor management across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), DevOps, secure coding practices, Kubernetes, and enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership:

• Drive end-to-end technical architecture, design, and implementation for insurance platforms.
• Guide cross-functional teams on technology direction, development standards, and secure coding best practices.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Guide team members on best practices for design, development, and deployment using Angular, NodeJS, Python, and databases (MongoDB, SQL)

Cloud and DevOps Expertise:

• Lead cloud strategy and adoption on

  AWS and Azure

  platforms.
• Design and maintain robust

  CI/CD pipelines

  ensuring rapid and reliable deployments.
• Ensure infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Design and manage containerized environments using

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

  for high-availability applications.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

• Coordinate with multiple external vendors, ensure contractual SLAs, and oversee multi-track project delivery

Provide technology governance and quality assurance across vendor deliverables.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce

  secure coding practices

  , threat modeling, and regular security reviews.
• Ensure compliance with insurance and group company data protection guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of progressive experience in software development and technology management.
• Proven experience in insurance domain technologies including policy management, quote/proposal workflows, claims, and integrations with insurers.
• Experience in software development with a focus on Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, Laravel Framework, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) and Azure (App Services, Azure DevOps, AKS, etc.).
• Strong command over DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, IaC, and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in secure coding practices, OWASP top 10, and DevSecOps principles.
• Experience in working with multi-vendor environments and large-scale IT programs.

Preferred Skills

Technical :

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
• Certification in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) or project management (PMP, Scrum).- Preferred.
• Experience in Insurtech APIs, policy lifecycle systems, or broker/OEM-led insurance sales platforms.
