Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in the Global Operational Planning team at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes and driving efficiency. You will lead a team of specialists to improve performance, ensure operational focus, and develop training materials for planning processes and systems. Your strategic oversight and leadership will impact the organizational direction alongside the VP, driving continuous improvement and scaling processes to serve more patients effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Drive strategy development and deployment for Global Operational Planning in alignment with internal and external stakeholders. - Develop and manage project pipeline and resources to meet ambitious goals for the coming years. - Continuously improve operational planning processes, systems, and interfaces in collaboration with key stakeholders. - Manage a highly skilled team, setting clear goals and KPIs for both the team and individual members. - Lead and oversee complex projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope while maintaining stakeholder engagement. Qualifications: - Masters degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field; consultancy and industrial background preferred. - Minimum 14+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain processes, operational planning, and inventory management. - Proven leadership experience in managing diverse teams and driving high-performance cultures. - Structured and analytical approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in project management methodologies, planning software, lean methodologies, and commitment to drive lasting change.
