Senior Manager Engineering

As an Engineering Manager for our R&D organization, you will be a hands-on, innovative leader focused on inspiring and managing a high-performing team to drive key strategic initiatives, reporting to the Director of Engineering. HOW you'll SPEND YOUR TIME HERE Inspire, lead, and manage a team of world-class developers designing and developing innovative products for our on-prem and SaaS offerings. Drive end-to-end product development, from gathering requirements with stakeholders to building, testing, and deploying products. Accelerate high-quality software development through technical thought leadership and innovation. Mentor, lead, and grow future leaders within the team. Set clear goals, foster collaborative achievements, and ensure the success of Cohesity s most strategic initiatives. Example: You will use leadership and technical mentoring skills to grow a team of high-performing engineers in order to drive delivery of next-generation data management solutions within the next 12 months. we'd LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field. 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in planning, architecting, and delivering high-quality products. 5+ years of experience building, managing, or leading high-performing development teams. Proven track record in building highly scalable distributed systems. Strong knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies. Hands-on expertise in coding and design best practices. Domain expertise in distributed systems, storage, platform engineering, data management products, and data pipelines/ETL.
