Senior Manager / Dy. General Mgr Chemical Feed Engineering Solutions

Role Overview

As the Head of Chemical Feed Engineering Solutions, you will set the strategic direction and lead all aspects of chemical feed and dosing solutions across our water treatment portfolio. You will oversee R&D, engineering, project delivery, and service excellence, ensuring we innovate, scale, and maintain world-class performance in cooling water, boiler water, RO and wastewater treatment applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Roadmap

• Define the long-term vision and technology roadmap for chemical feed & dosing offerings, aligning with corporate digital transformation and growth objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven dosing, smart sensors) and drive their integration into product lines.

2. Business & P&L Ownership

• Develop and manage budgets, revenue targets, and margin goals for the chemical feed systems business unit.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform pricing, positioning and service models.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with R&D, IoT/data teams, sales, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions from sensor selection through analytics and control.
• Work closely with digital platform teams
• Work Closely with procurement / IT to maintain the product margin as well as explore alternate vendors.

4. Team Development & Talent Management

• Build and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of process engineers, automation specialists, project managers and service leads.
• Establish career paths, training programs and performance metrics to foster technical excellence and customer focus.

5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Champion best practices in process safety, regulatory compliance and quality management (ISO, FDA, EPA as applicable).
• Implement continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to optimize system reliability, chemical usage efficiency and service responsiveness.

6. Customer Engagement & Thought Leadership

• Serve as a subject-matter expert in customer proposals, technical reviews and executive-level presentations.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

• Bachelors or master's degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

Experience

• 1215+ years in industrial water treatment chemistry and instrumentation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record driving P&L, scaling technical teams and launching innovative dosing solutions in cooling, boiler, RO, WWTP environments.

Technical & Business Acumen:

• Deep expertise in chemical feed system design, PID/control strategy, instrumentation (pH, ORP, conductivity) and digital integration.
• Strong financial literacy: budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis and contract negotiations.

Leadership Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to inspire, recruit and retain top talent.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing at the executive level and across global teams.
