Job Description

As a member of the deals team at PwC, your role will involve providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. You will help clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals. Specifically, as part of the financial due diligence team, your focus will be on providing strategic advice and business diligence services to clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial information, with a focus on quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and other key client deal issues. - Reviewing & auditing comprehensive financial models for projects in various sectors such as solar energy, construction, and mining. Tasks may include assumption testing, scenario analysis, risk assessment, return analysis, debt structuring, etc. - Understanding the process workflow related to work requests from initiation through completion, managing workflow within the firm's workflow management tool, and documenting the results of work performed optimally. - Participating in a wide range of projects and collaborating across multiple work streams or teams, demonstrating creative thinking, individual initiative, and timely completion of assigned work. - Consistently demonstrating teamwork dynamics by understanding personal and team roles, building solid relationships with team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback. Qualification Required: - MBA Finance/CA/CFA - Experience of 10-15 years - Completed a professional qualification in accounting or finance and understanding financial accounting concepts - Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in the face of competing priorities, setting task priorities based on importance and urgency. - Demonstrated ability to fulfill assigned tasks in a timely manner to a high standard, and contribute to the development of junior staff. - Proficiency in Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Self-motivated with a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development, committed to continuous training and proactive learning of new processes.,
