Senior Manager - Accounts and Finance - Bhuj - Qualified CA

Role & responsibilities

• The Sr. Manager Accounts & Finance will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, with a strong focus on MIS reporting, product costing, budgeting, and capex control.
• This role requires preparation and presentation of accurate monthly MIS and financial reports for management decision-making, along with variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• The candidate will manage product costing processes, including standard cost setting, overhead absorption, and profitability analysis by product, division, and process.
• They will oversee the accounting and control of capital expenditure projects, ensuring compliance with internal approval protocols and timely capitalization.
• The role also involves maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, supervising physical verification, asset tagging, and managing disposals in accordance with company policy.
• The candidate will lead budgeting exercises and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process in alignment with strategic business goals, while monitoring actual performance against the plan. Additionally, the role includes ensuring statutory, internal, and cost audit compliance, maintaining strong internal financial controls, and supporting automation of reporting processes through SAP FI/CO and other tools.
• Strong coordination with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and corporate finance, is essential to ensure financial discipline and alignment with business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

• The preferred candidate is a

  qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

  with

  1215 years of experience

  in finance, accounts, costing, budgeting, and capex management—preferably in

  manufacturing, chemicals, or agri-inputs industries
