Job Description

Role Overview:

Senior Lab Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations of the textile testing laboratory.
Conduct and supervise physical, chemical, and performance testing of textiles, fabrics, and garments as per international standards (ISO, AATCC, ASTM, etc.).
Evaluate and implement latest testing machinery, technologies, and methods to enhance lab capabilities.
Ensure calibration, maintenance, and validation of all lab instruments.
Develop and maintain testing protocols, SOPs, and quality assurance systems
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and client requirements.
Train and mentor lab technicians and junior staff.
Prepare detailed technical reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
Manage budgets, consumables, and procurement for the lab.

Qualifications & Experience

1015 years
of experience in textile testing, quality, or R&D, with at least
3–5 years
in a managerial or senior technical role.
Strong knowledge of international textile testing standards (ISO, AATCC, ASTM, etc.).
Hands-on experience with modern textile testing equipment .
Excellent analytical, documentation skills.
