Senior Java Software Engineer

As a Senior Java Software Engineer at RoboMQ in Jaipur, Rajasthan, you will be responsible for designing and developing Java-based backend microservices for the Hire2Retire IGA platform. Your role will involve utilizing your strong analytical, design, and development skills to define requirements, build use cases, design interfaces, and implement them in code. It is essential to have proven experience in developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Java applications. Additionally, a solid grasp of software technologies, a fast-learning mindset, and a problem-solving attitude are crucial for success in this role. You should have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java Development, ideally with exposure to Java 21. An Engineering Graduate from a premier institute would be preferred. Experience working with microservices using Messaging (AMQP/RabbitMQ), MySQL or any relational database, Redis, and a good understanding of data processing concepts are required. Familiarity with web services, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, multithreading, and data structures is important. Your coding practices should adhere to writing clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for defining, designing, and shipping new features, as well as participation in code reviews for continuous improvement, are integral parts of the role. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are a must. Desired skills for this position include experience in software development on the Linux platform, working with Cloud Technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DevOps experience involving Jenkins, build pipelines, cloud deployment, and networking concepts, and familiarity with Docker and a Kubernetes-based environment.
