Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

You will be responsible for hands-on development involving UI, Backend, Database, APIs, and DevOps, focusing on technologies such as React, Java, SQL, Microservices, and Azure DevOps. Your role will also include developing architecture and solution designs, mentoring and coaching the technical team, providing guidance on technical solutions, conducting design and code reviews, and participating in the development of iterative implementation plans and strategies. Additionally, you will be a key participant in user story breakdowns, elaboration, and reviews, as well as serving as an escalation point for deployments and change oversight. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining SRE runbooks. As an ideal candidate, you are expected to be a self-starter capable of acting independently with minimal management oversight. You should have the ability to work across cultures and geographies to encourage teams to adopt best practices. In terms of experience and technical skills, you should have at least 7 years of related work experience with a successful track record of delivering large, complex projects while demonstrating technical leadership. You should possess end-to-end system design skills that consider the tradeoffs between technical solutions, business value, and operational simplicity. Core hands-on development skills in JavaScript (React or Angular), Java, OOP, SQL, JSON, No-SQL (MongoDB, CosmosDB), Kubernetes, and scripting are required. Experience in developing CRUD APIs, critical applications, Queues/Kafka, Microservices, message brokers, integration patterns, and deploying applications using GCP, Azure, or AWS solutions is essential. Additionally, advanced knowledge of software engineering principles, system analysis and design, algorithms, computer system architecture, and data structures is necessary. Preferred qualifications include a BS/MS in Computer Science/Information Systems, experience with disability products or knowledge of the insurance industry, proficiency in using AI/Co-Pilot, experience with Python, working in cross-functional multi-location teams, and familiarity with SAFe, Agile methodology, tools, and Agile integration with Waterfall.,
