Senior Java Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Java / Full Stack engineer at Cognyte, you will play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art security technologies to contribute to making the world a safer and more secure place. Here's what you'll be doing as a Cognyter: - Function as a major part of a cross-functional high performing agile automation development team. - Be responsible for all automation infrastructure development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and CI/CD processes. - Build, design, and develop java components and microservices over a distributed environment in a cloud-native system, focusing on high availability, low latency, scalability, and high throughput. - Collaborate closely with global development teams, product owners, architects, and system integration engineers to identify and solve challenging problems. To be successful in this role, you'll need the following qualifications: - BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent. - At least 5 years of hands-on experience in back-end/full-stack software development of high-performance complex systems. - Strong and extensive background in server-side development in Java 8 and related technologies like JBoss and Spring. - Experience with concepts such as multithreading, REST, web-sockets, and application servers. - Experience with developing microservices in cloud environments. - Proficiency in Automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Gauge. - In-depth understanding of the entire web development process including design, development, deployment, CI/CD processes, automation, build, and release flows. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Additionally, the following experience would be considered an advantage: - Experience with software deployment containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker. - Familiarity with web development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, and React.
