Senior Java Developer with Microservices , Core Banking

As an Intermediate Consultant in Oracle Financial Services Consulting, you will operate independently with some guidance to provide quality work products that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Your main responsibilities will include performing standard duties with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications. - Participate as a Senior Technical team member in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activity streams such as Migration, Integration, and Testing support. - Assist with analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for various business requirements. - Develop programs as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle/Client within the planned schedule. - Use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverables meeting quality expectations. - Document all work according to agreed standards/processes. - Adhere to the defined Change Control Process and comply with audit/compliance requirements. - Ensure quality code delivery and perform proper handover/knowledge transfer at the end of each assignment. - Provide timely status reporting to the supervisor and submit timesheets and expenses punctually. - Possess experience in end-to-end Development, Implementation, or Support activities covering expertise areas such as design of customizations, Coding, Unit testing, executing Test cycles, migrations, and Integrations for Oracle FLEXCUBE/Core banking products. - Knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices related technologies, Springboot, JavaScript, XML. Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c) is a plus. - Exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software, especially Oracle Weblogic. - Working knowledge of Release management and Source control tools. - Ability to perform issue tracking for applications and follow-up for resolution with stakeholders. - Good client interaction skills, including presentation of solutions. - Awareness of banking terminologies and concepts. - Skills in Microsoft Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint, communication, and documentation in English.
