As a Java Developer for integration services and APIs at our company, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code to develop integration services and APIs. - Developing and deploying RESTful APIs (with optional SOAP APIs) to seamlessly integrate business applications, including ERP and CRM platforms like NetSuite and Salesforce. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, resolve complex integration challenges, and deliver high-quality coding solutions. - Handling data formats such as JSON, XML, and YAML effectively within the code. - Developing scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks. - Continuously improving coding standards, code quality, and best practices. - Performing rigorous code reviews, writing unit tests, and ensuring coding consistency. - Mentoring junior developers to enhance their coding proficiency. - Implementing secure coding practices, including authentication mechanisms like OAuth 2.0 and JWT. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. - 5+ years of hands-on Java coding experience. - Strong proficiency in developing RESTful APIs, with optional knowledge of SOAP APIs. - Proven expertise in coding for enterprise systems integration, especially with Salesforce, NetSuite, or other CRM/ERP solutions. - Extensive experience in handling data interchange formats like XML, JSON, and YAML. - Deep understanding and extensive coding experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices. - Familiarity with authentication frameworks, particularly OAuth 2.0 and JWT. - Demonstrable knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban. - Excellent communication skills and collaborative coding practices. - Experience working with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar. - Proficiency in IDEs like IntelliJ (including cursor tools) and other relevant development tools. - Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit. Preferred skills for this role include: - Experience in coding cloud-based solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Coding proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles. - Advanced understanding of secure API coding and best practices. - Hands-on coding experience with integration middleware like MuleSoft or Apache Camel.
