Senior Java Backend Developer

As a Sr Java Backend Developer at our dynamic development team, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using Java and the Spring Framework. **Responsibilities:** - Support and assist senior software engineer managers in coordinating and managing software development projects. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of digital software solutions. - Assist in planning and executing software development processes. - Help prioritize and assign tasks to team members, ensuring alignment with project timelines. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for developers" growth. - Build a network of talent within and outside the company. - Create mechanisms for onboarding new talent and mentor others. - Coach and provide feedback to direct reports for talent development. - Apply performance standards and identify resource needs for team optimization. - Design, implement, and deploy software components to solve complex problems. - Understand and apply development approaches effectively. - Work independently and collaboratively to deliver successful software. - Focus on operational excellence by identifying and proposing solutions for software improvements. - Train new team members on software functionality and operations. - Assess risks in business decisions and ensure compliance with regulations. **Qualifications:** - 8-12 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or Enterprise Architecture. - Expertise in Java, KAFKA Messaging, Spring boot rest API, Microservices, Spring MVC, Angular, AWS Cloud, Agile. - Implement and maintain scalable microservices architectures. - Optimize application performance for speed and scalability. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure system stability. - Lead resources by demonstrating advanced knowledge across technologies. - Acquire relevant technology and financial industry skills. - Demonstrate knowledge of automating code quality, performance, and testing. **Education:** - Bachelors/University degree This job requires designing and delivering web solutions with a multi-tenant architecture, developing robust web applications using Java, SpringBoot, React, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery, implementing integrations using microservices architecture with Kafka, working with SQL and managing data retrieval, collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, presenting technical concepts to various audiences, and troubleshooting technical issues.
