Role & responsibilities

The IT Senior Engineer - M365 & Microsoft Teams Administrator is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and management of Microsoft 365 services and Microsoft Teams. This role involves developing architecture solutions that enhance communication and collaboration, ensuring scalability and security, and providing high-level support and guidance to IT teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft 365 platforms and a strong ability to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture and Design:

• Design and implement architecture solutions for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams that align with business needs.
• Develop scalable and secure solutions that support enterprise communication and collaboration.

2. Strategic Planning and Implementation:

• Lead the planning and execution of M365 and Teams deployments and migrations.
• Develop roadmaps and strategic plans for the adoption and optimization of Microsoft services.

3. Advanced Administration and Management:

• Oversee the administration of M365 services, including user management, licensing, and policy enforcement.
• Manage complex configurations and integrations with other enterprise systems.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Architect security and compliance frameworks for Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ensure data protection and regulatory compliance through best practices and advanced configurations.

5. Technical Leadership and Support:

• Provide expert-level support and guidance to IT teams and end-users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-level issues related to Microsoft 365 and Teams.

6. Optimization and Innovation:

• Identify opportunities to leverage Microsoft technologies for business innovation and process improvement.
• Evaluate new features and tools, recommending their adoption where beneficial.

7. Training and Documentation:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, configurations, and processes.
• Lead training sessions and workshops to educate IT staff and end-users on new technologies and best practices.

8. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in designing and managing Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams environments.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and governance within Microsoft 365.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
