Domain: Equity Capital Markets (Sell-side) at a reputed merchant banking firm
Business Unit: Asset Management (Buy-side)Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong ECM / Capital Markets background to join our Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise from sell-side ECM advisory and help us strengthen our investment capabilities in both listed and pre-listing markets.Key Responsibilities:1. Listed Market InvestmentsLead investments in listed securities, particularly IPOs and pre-IPO anchor placements.Analyze deal structures, valuations, and market dynamics to identify high-conviction opportunities.2. Support Unlisted Portfolio CompaniesAssist our unlisted portfolio companies in preparing for and executing their listing journey.Provide guidance on capital raising, regulatory compliance, and market positioning to ensure successful IPOs or listings.Ideal Profile:12+ years of work experience in Equity Capital Markets, preferably in a merchant banking / investment banking sell-side role.Strong understanding of IPO processes, pre-IPO investment structuring, and post-listing dynamics.Demonstrated ability to work with senior management of companies on listing strategy and execution.Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
