Job Description

As a Senior Consultant in Infrastructure Capital Project Management at EY, you will play a crucial role in delivering large and small-scale infrastructure programs across various sectors such as oil and gas, energy, roads & highways, utilities, or industrial projects. Your responsibilities will involve project setup, planning, and lifecycle delivery while ensuring quality and budget adherence. You will collaborate with EY's infrastructure clients to provide innovative solutions and manage capital projects effectively. Additionally, you will be tasked with integrating data for insights, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and driving continuous process improvement. Your role will also include assessing and enhancing program management maturity. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic and operational consulting support for capital infrastructure programs, including PMO setup, project planning, risk management, cost control, governance frameworks, and cross-functional team coordination. - Develop project schedules in tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, interact with engineering, procurement, and construction functional leads, and create cost breakdown structures for project budgeting and financial reporting. - Track schedules, perform critical path analysis, manage resources and costs, optimize schedules, and conduct delay analysis. Utilize earned value analysis and metrics for project tracking. - Generate reports and dashboards for critical insights, risk and issue management, resource constraints analysis, and schedule quality evaluation. Integrate data from scheduling tools to platforms like PowerBI. - Develop project risk management plans, risk registers, heat maps, and perform schedule risk analysis using methods like Monte Carlo analysis. Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards. - Support RFP solutioning, content development, and client queries as a subject matter expert. Lead go-to-market activities to drive business growth and expand the client network. - Mentor junior team members and conduct learning & development activities in the capital projects domain across various sectors.
