Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and operations of CNIS platforms, managing and optimizing Cloud Container Distribution (CCD), and collaborating with app and platform teams to onboard workloads. Your role will also involve monitoring system performance, ensuring compliance with security and operational policies, and participating in disaster recovery planning and execution. Additionally, you will maintain detailed documentation for operational readiness and troubleshoot CNIS components. Key Responsibilities: - End-to-end administration and operations of CNIS platforms such as Kubernetes and container runtimes - Manage and optimize Cloud Container Distribution (CCD) including provisioning, upgrades, and disaster recovery readiness - Perform health checks, configuration drift analysis, and capacity tracking for CCD - Collaborate with app and platform teams for workload onboarding and support - Monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana - Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational policies - Participate in disaster recovery planning, execution, and RCA of major incidents - Maintain runbooks, MOPs, and CNIS documentation for operational readiness - Troubleshoot CNIS components and ensure seamless integration with SDI layers Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in supporting and managing business-critical operations - In-depth knowledge and working experience in Linux Administration - Proficiency in Dockers, Kubernetes, and other cloud platforms - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills - Understanding of SDN and integration with container networking layers - Familiarity with traffic filtering, CNIS network architecture, VLANs, trunking, and ACLs - Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting and switch management - Strong knowledge of CEPH Storage administration and troubleshooting Certifications Preferred: - CKA / CKAD / CKS Kubernetes certifications - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA/RHCE) - Networking certifications (Juniper/Extreme/SDN) - ITIL Foundation (preferred in process-driven environments),
