Job Description

As a prospective candidate for the role at Ericsson, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end administration and operations of CNIS platforms, which includes Kubernetes, container runtimes, and cloud-native infrastructure components. Your responsibilities will involve managing and optimizing Cloud Container Distribution (CCD), conducting health checks, configuration drift analysis, capacity tracking, and ensuring environment validation across clusters. Collaboration with app and platform teams to onboard workloads and provide CCD-level support will be a key aspect of your role. Your role will also entail monitoring system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring compliance with security, governance, and operational policies, as well as participating in disaster recovery planning, execution, and RCA of major incidents. Maintaining detailed runbooks, MOPs, and CNIS documentation for operational readiness will be essential. Additionally, you will monitor SDI health and performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure seamless integration with CNIS layers. Your troubleshooting experience with CNIS components, expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration, and hardware troubleshooting skills on HP ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge servers will be highly valuable in this role. You will also need hands-on experience with Juniper and Extreme Networks switches, understanding of CEPH Storage administration, and familiarity with traffic filtering, isolation, and multi-tenant CNIS network architecture. In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess: - 10+ years of experience in supporting and managing business critical operations. - In-depth knowledge and working experience in Linux Administration. - Proficiency in Dockers, Kubernetes, and other cloud platforms. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. - Understanding of SDN and integration with container networking layers. - Certification Preferred: CKA / CKAD / CKS Kubernetes certifications, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA/RHCE), Networking certifications (Juniper/Extreme/SDN), ITIL Foundation (preferred in process-driven environments).,
