Role Overview: As a Senior Associate - Senior Graphic Design at EY GDS Creative Center of Excellence, your primary role involves ideating and delivering best-in-class creatives that align with the EY brand and business objectives in the Japan region. You will collaborate with various teams to create design solutions for impactful proposals, illustrations, layouts, and enhanced user experiences, specifically focusing on Japanese language and business culture. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and design branding materials such as brochures, placemats, illustrations, infographics, proposals, and social media collaterals - Adhere to EY brand guidelines and exceed expectations in terms of aesthetics, quality, and efficiency - Mentor junior team members on best design practices - Prioritize deadlines and manage multiple creative projects simultaneously - Communicate effectively with customers, understand design briefs, and provide innovative design solutions - Advocate the latest design trends to team members and customers - Provide unique and compelling design solutions to customers - Act as a design consultant independently and be responsive to customer queries - Contribute to various organizational initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Graphic Design or related discipline - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Document Cloud - Strong visual design capability with a portfolio showcasing the skill set - 5+ years of relevant experience working with global clients - Good to have: Knowledge of Japanese language (JLPT certified N5-N1) and culture Skills and Attributes: - User-focused approach blending creativity, innovation, and analytical skills - Knowledge of infographics and data visualization techniques - Flawless typography skills and keen sense of balance in layout - Excellent communication skills (English - comprehension, verbal, and written) - Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in work quality - Ability to interact effectively in a fast-paced environment - Understanding of current and future visual trends - Aptitude for art direction Additional Details: EY GDS is a dynamic and global delivery network spanning Argentina, China, India, the Philippines, Poland, and the UK.
