Position:

Senior Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the functional

  Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  for commercial insurance processes, including policy administration, billing, and claims.
• Lead

  stakeholder management activities

  , ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into

  functional specifications

  for P&C platforms.
• Provide

  functional configuration guidance

  and ensure platforms align with business and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure

  seamless implementation and integrations

  with third-party systems.
• Conduct

  requirement workshops, gap analysis, and support UAT

  with business stakeholders.
• Map and optimize the

  end-to-end policy lifecycle

  , including underwriting, billing, and claims processes.
• Lead project teams

  from the front

  , ensuring

  timely deliverables and high-quality outcomes

  .
• Support

  integration efforts

  with CRMs, ERPs, and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure compliance with

  regulatory and industry standards

  throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–15 years of total experience in the

  insurance domain (Commercial/P&C)

  .
• Strong

  techno-functional expertise

  with

  Guidewire applications

  (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) or similar P&C platforms (Duck Creek, Majesco, Sapiens, OneShield).
• Proven experience in

  leading project teams

  and managing

  stakeholder expectations

  across business and IT.
• Solid understanding of

  policy administration, billing, and claims workflows

  .
• Experience preparing

  functional documentation, data mappings, and process flows

  .
• Excellent

  communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership

  skills.
• Ability to liaise effectively between business users and technology teams.
  
• Guidewire or equivalent platform certifications are mandatory.
