Senior Fullstack Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Design

• Architect scalable hybrid infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
  
• Design secure, resilient solutions for AI, data, and cybersecurity workloads.
  
• Create infrastructure blueprints, network topologies, and migration plans.
  

2. Infrastructure Build & Operations (On-Prem + Cloud)

• Manage Windows/Linux servers, storage, hypervisors (VMware ESXi/vCenter).
  
• Maintain high-availability clusters, backups, DR plans, and monitoring.
  
• Handle cloud compute, networking, security groups, IAM, VPC design, VPNs, etc.
  

3. Networking & Security

• Configure switches, routing, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs.
  
• Administer firewalls (Fortinet / Palo Alto / Cisco / Sophos / SonicWall).
  
• Implement zero-trust principles, hardening, patching, access controls.
  
• Apply cloud and on-prem security best practices.
  

4. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & Automation

• Build and manage IaC using

  Terraform

  (mandatory).
• Automate deployments, provisioning, patching, and environment setups.
  
• Write automation scripts using

  Python / Bash / PowerShell

  .
• Integrate with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines where applicable.
  

5. Cloud Migrations

• Lead migrations from on-prem cloud and cloud cloud.
  
• Execute workload lift-and-shift, modernization, and performance optimization.
  
• Ensure data integrity, security, rollback planning, and seamless cutover.
  

6. Operations & Support

• Handle escalations, incident management, and RCA.
  
• Optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and reliability.
  
• Support internal teams across AI, Data, and Cybersecurity operations.
  

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• Deep hands-on experience in

  AWS and/or Azure

  (any one mandatory; both preferred).
• Strong command over

  Terraform

  (IaC) for complex infra.
• Strong experience with

  VMware

  (ESXi, vCenter).
• Excellent Linux + Windows server administration.
  
• Solid networking knowledge (L2/L3, VPN, routing, firewalls).
  
• Hands-on experience with

  Python automation

  .
• Experience in

  infrastructure migrations

  .

Security & Reliability

• Experience with firewalls, identity management, endpoint security.
  
• Knowledge of SOC practices, monitoring tools, logging, risk mitigation.
  
• Understanding of secure cloud architecture, IAM hygiene, and RBAC.

• High ownership and maturity.
  
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments.
  
• Strong troubleshooting capability.
  
• Good communication and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Experience

• Worked in hybrid environments (DC + AWS/Azure).
  
• Worked in startups, MSPs, or cybersecurity/AI companies.
  
• Exposure to DevOps practices (GitOps, CI/CD).
  
• Experience managing infrastructure for distributed global teams.
