As a Full Stack Developer specializing in React JS, NodeJS, and AWS, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across both the front-end and back-end. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, secure, and high-performing solutions, leveraging modern cloud infrastructure and best practices in software engineering.
Essential Functions
Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React JS.
- Build and optimize back-end services and RESTful APIs using NodeJS (and frameworks such as Express or NestJS).
- Integrate and manage AWS services (such as Lambda, EC2, S3, Cognito, SQS) to build serverless and cloud-native applications.
- Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) for data modeling, queries, and optimisation.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling using industry best practices.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins) for automated deployments and testing.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software products.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code; conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-9 years of hands-on experience in full stack development using React JS and NodeJS.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development.
- Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, Cognito, SQS) and deploying applications on AWS.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, integration, and security.
- Experience with database management (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Would be a plus
- Experience with additional AWS services (e.g., EventBridge, Aurora), serverless architectures, or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Redux, Chakra UI).
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and best practices for unit/integration testing.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- AWS or JavaScript/TypeScript certifications.
- Experience with analytics integration (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong design skills and an eye for UI/UX improvements.
