Senior Full Stack Developer

As a member of the MI Data and Researchs Data Science Team at S&P Global, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge data science and generative AI solutions. Your role will involve working on cloud-based services and full-stack applications using .Net, C#, and natural language processing solutions. You will be responsible for implementing and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, automating cloud infrastructure management, writing various types of tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy data science models into production environments. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting the administration of data science experimentation environments and optimizing application performance and infrastructure costs. Your work will also involve educating others to improve coding standards, code quality, test coverage, and documentation. **Responsibilities and Impact:** - Develop and productionize cloud-based services and full-stack applications using .Net, C# and natural language processing solutions, including generative AI models. - Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. - Automate cloud infrastructure management. - Write unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests. - Work in a team environment using Agile practices. - Support the administration of data science experimentation environments. - Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs. - Collaborate with data scientists and other developers to integrate and deploy data science models into production environments. - Educate others to improve coding standards, code quality, test coverage, and documentation. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of services. **Qualifications Required:** - 5-8 years of experience in software engineering. - Proficiency in programming languages for full-stack development including .Net and C#. - Experience in writing and maintaining high-quality code, utilizing techniques such as unit testing and code reviews. - Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts. - Strong experience with cloud services and their management. - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies. - Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions. - Knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. **Additional Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience writing front-end web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices. - Experience with other cloud service providers. - Proficiency in additional programming languages. - Experience with relational and non-relational databases. - Knowledge of machine learning concepts. - Experience working with large language models.
