Senior Front End developer

Senior Front End developer Position Synopsis This is a development role, where the Front End developer will work on an ecommerce development team of backend and front end developers. This role fits neatly between the business team and the Java Back end team Developer. The developer will be responsible for translating Business. Required: 4+ Years as a Development Lead leading other developers 3+ Years Development experience for Ecommerce solutions, Extensive skills mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, explaining Design work Extensive Project skills completing development designs / technical skills In depth knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, UML, design patterns. Team player In Depth knowledge of Software Design, Architecture Knowledge of Ecommerce architect / design 3+ years of experience with Javascript (familiar with concepts such as asynchronous programming, closures, es6, etc.) 3+ years with HTML and CSS (familiar with concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility 2+ years of experience with node.js. (familiar with the node.js event loops, concepts such as server side rendering, etc) 2+ years of experience with one Single Page Applications framework/library (VUE, ANGULAR, REACT) Preferred: Experience working with observables and data streams Experience with server side rendering SPA s Working cloud knowledge (GCP, AWS Cognito, etc). Experience with a state management framework (flux) such as @ngrx, or redux Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with business and UX to help bring business requirements and designs to production. Lead a distributed team of front end developers create features . Collaborate closely with Infrastructure team to diagnose performance issues, and scalability concerns. Define and enforce UI standards, and create shared libraries to be used organization wide. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : Mandatory Technical Skills Frontend Team Leadership 4+ years leading developers, mentoring, conducting code reviews, and driving frontend best practices. eCommerce Web Development 3+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable, customer-facing eCommerce applications. JavaScript (ES6+) Strong hands-on expertise with asynchronous programming, closures, and modern JS standards. HTML5 and CSS3 Advanced skills in layout, responsiveness, specificity, and cross-browser compatibility. Single Page Application (SPA) Frameworks 2+ years of experience with at least one of the following: Angular 17 React 18 Vue 3 Node.js 2+ years working with Node.js, including event loop handling and server-side rendering (SSR). UI Architecture & Reusability Experience defining and enforcing UI standards, building component libraries. Object-Oriented Design & UML Deep understanding of OOP principles, UML modeling, and software architecture/design patterns.
